Minigore 2: Zombies | JUST BLASTIN' ZOMBIES!!!!!

Minigore 2: Zombies

Category: Games
Size: 139 MB
Seller: Mountain Sheep
Alert: MUST BE 17 YEARS OR OLDER TO DOWNLOAD

I've had Minigore 2: Zombies for a little while now because every once in a while I get the itch to kill some zombies! This game is a lot of fun and for me the most entertaining part about this game is seeing the bosses they came up with. From Zombies to giant skeletons, pigs and other hilariously entertaining creature to destroy! Check out the Positives & Negatives below the slideshow!

Positives:
- Gameplay, easy to pick up and play!
- Replay value is very high for me mainly in part to the simple gameplay
- $1.99, this gets you the game and you don't have to pay for more unless you want to
- Graphics, beautiful battle area's and a ton of disgustingly cute sprites

Negatives:
- $1.99 to get the game and extra charges for more in game advancements
- Not everyone can enjoy this game, have to be 17 or older to download due to adult content

Final Thoughts: It's definitely worth the $2 bucks and as far as any in game purchases they aren't necessary and takes some fun out of it. So go and check it out and let me know what you think!

Have you played this game before? What are your thoughts?

COSPLAYER OF THE WEEK | VICTORI BELLE

Victori Belle aka Tori Clark
Chicagoland Cosplayer

Victori Belle has been cosplay since 2013 and started her cosplaying career in St. Louis at Wizard World. Cosplaying is a way for Victori to express herself and connect with people around the world.

After having success as a NBC Reporter in Rockford and winning a Chicago Midwest Emmy for her photography she quit her job to follow her passions. Victori Belle turned to professional cosplaying and acting in the summer of 2016. She has been a featured guest in more than 10 conventions this year throughout the Midwest. Everyday and every convention she attends, she tries to learn skills from fellow cosplayers and gain new techniques that she can put towards her costuming. Her favorite part of any convention is connecting with people... and possibly partying with them afterwards. :)

When Victori isn't at conventions or costuming she is working on her other job as an actress. She is currently a co-host on Deadgar's Dark Coffin Classics, Stacey Slaughter on the Deadersons and on weekly for the Change the F'UP Podcast. These shows are currently on TV in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

You can connect with Victori Belle on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and her personal website using the links below

Let's get into some of Victori Belle's amazing cosplays!
The costumes she does as of now is Wonder Woman, Maleficent, Psylocke, Harley Quinn, Demonatrix, Chandra (Plains Walker from Magic the Gathering) and Ichicgo Kurosaki from Bleach.

Be on the look out for future information on Victori Belle here at livingthenerdlife.com. She will be sharing her future convention schedule with us and fill us in on some conventions she has attended in future posts! As of now she is planning on creating 5 more costumes for this upcoming season which means December and January are going to be busy! Definitely make sure you support her and show her some love by scrolling back up and connecting with her on her various social media.

Flappy Golf 2 | Just Tap it in!!!

Flappy Golf 2

Developer: Noodlecake Studios Inc

Size: 115 MB

Release Date: Oct 31, 2016

Compatibility: Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Flappy Golf 2, yes the follow up to the smash hit Flappy Golf... Ok, I have know clue if the original Flappy Golf was a smash hit or not. However, I do know that Flappy Golf 2 is kind of entertaining. For me the early stages of this game are what made me enjoy this game, in fact if I'm looking for just a few minutes of fun I always go back to the first and 2nd stages. Not that the latter stages are bad or anything but those early levels fill my quick fix just perfectly. Check out some of my Positives & Negatives below.

Positives

- Freemium! For the levels I play it is actually free!

- Flappy madness. Seems to be similar to Flappy Bird mechanics so easy to play

- Quick Fix. Have 5-10 minutes this game is perfect for you

Negatives

- Freemium, you know how that goes

- Later levels just turned me off due to how many things you have to do in them. Just too much.

Have any of you tried out this game? Or even the original Flappy Golf? What did you think?

Heavyweights | "Don't put Twinkies on your pizza!"

It's on Netflix... go now and watch!

Heavyweights has always been one of my favorite Ben Stiller movies. Yes that Ben Stiller! He is hilarious in this along with the Fat-Camp goers to Camp Hope! I actually didn't realize it was on Netflix til yesterday when a friend shared they were watching it on Facebook. I have my own copy of the movie and watched it over the weekend not knowing it was on there. Here is a brief breakdown of the movie if for some unknown reason you haven't seen it yet. SPOILERS!

Fat kids got to fat camp that acquires a new owner who actually wants to get kids to lose weight so he can sell his own workout system called the Perki-System. The fat kids stay fat and overcome both the new owner and the fit/popular kids from a nearby rival camp.

I guess technically you don't have to watch it now but I'd highly recommend it because its just so funny and you wouldn't get the "Don't Put Twinkies on your Pizza" line in the title of this post!

Game of the Week | Riptide GP Renegade

Riptide GP Renegade

Developer: Vector Unit

Publisher: Vector Unit

Size: 105.4 MB

Release Date: 2016

Genre: Racing

Compatibility: Android, iOS, Xbox One, PS4, Windows 10

Riptide GP Renegade was made by the same company that made Hydro Thunder which means you can expect some great graphics and game play. I picked up this game for iOS for i believe $2.99 and it was definitely worth the small price tag. I didn't know anything about it prior to buying it but had recently watched an episode of Game Sack on YouTube where Joe and Dave were talking about Wave Race 64 and I had to find something similar to play on my phone!

This definitely filled a gap for me. The fast pace racing and deep tricks arsenal made this game a lot of fun to play. It does have a bit of a story as well which involves you and an arch rival and your revenge by beating your rival in a series of races. In the end the story is definitely an after thought. The meat and potatoes is all in the racing. Check out my Positives & Negatives below.

Positives:

- Great Graphics! I caught myself thinking I was gaming on a PS Vita with the graphic on my iPhone 6s Plus

- Gameplay: easy to learn and easy to play

- Extensive story line: which gave me several hours of game play.

- Game modes: there is more than just racing a big aspect of the game is doing tricks as well.

Negatives:

- There was an upfront cost of $2.99 but other than that you don't have to spend another dime.

- The Story... was silly but bareable.

Funko GO! | It's Like Pokemon GO, But More Fun!

Hi everyone! Lorne here. It’s been quite a while since I’ve written anything regarding Funko related. Normally, I’m writing Funko reviews on new products that have come out. However, this time, I want to take a different approach. This is NOT a review on products. But rather, a way to take your love of Funko, meeting people, going to new and fun places and wrapping it all up in a pretty package and tying it with a bow!

One thing that I’ve recently gotten into is doing scenic pictures with Funko in the foreground (or background, depending on what you like). Now, this isn’t a new concept and I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of them in the Funko community via social media. What’s fun about it though, is that there’s a Funko for every situation! If you are an avid collector like I am (230 Funko and counting!), then you aren’t exactly limited on who to take with you to your destination! Normally, if I’m going to be out visiting several places in a day, or making a day-long trip to Disneyland, I figure out what Funko I’d find either cute, funny, or “just right” for the places I’m going.

The thing that makes it a lot more fun, is when taking the pictures and getting your fun shots, you NEVER know who you might run into. I almost always meet a Funko collector when I’m taking pictures of my characters at Disneyland. It’s so fun to meet new people via the Funko community when you’re out in everyday life and just enjoying the day. You’ll meet fun people, get into great talks about what got them into collecting, compare your Funko numbers, etc.

So, like the title says, GO!!! Add a little extra enjoyment into your daily life and take a Funko with you for the day! Take fun pictures. I guarantee you will meet people who share your love of Funko. But of course, don’t forget to post your fun Funko Scenes on social media. Get other people into doing it, meet people in your area and go on Funko adventures. You just might even meet someone who’s willing to go on a fun excursion to different malls and go Funko Hunting!

Have fun out there!!!
