Once more into the darkness we go as Living the Nerd Life’s Ryan Dampf is back again to speak to another mobile game: Don’t Starve for Vita, iOS and pretty much any other console you can think of. And Chase makes an impassioned speech for another Klei title, Mark of the Ninja, to be ported just as much as Don’t Starve has been, but that’s neither here nor there.
Micro is back and this time, we’re tackling a true iOS classic in Vlambeer’s Ridiculous Fishing. We also get into a discussion about game cloning and how it affects developers, consumers and the industry at large.
Vlambeer gives some great talks, especially this one on their signature “screen shake.”
Game Night Gear is a monthly subscription based board/card game business based out of St.Louis. You can choose to receive games every month, every other month, or every three months. These are games to keep, not to borrow and then return. Right now it is $30 a month, but eventually they have plans on rolling out a smaller mini version and a larger deluxe version.
How did this business come to exist? A lot of it has to do with the fact that Game Night Gear just loves board and card games. Years later they found out that board games have changed. It's not just Monopoly, clue, guess who, or yahtzee.
The problem has been where to get these games and then also what games to get? The big box stores are now starting to carry a few newer games, but not many. Once you find them, what do you get? That's where Game Night Gear comes in. No more shopping, no more staring at games not knowing what to get. Game Night Gear will do it all for you. We hand select games that we play, test, like, and think you will enjoy. Part of the mystery is you have no idea what you are going to get from month to month. Getting your friends together and unboxing that mystery then playing it together is what really excites Game Night Gear.
If you like what Game Night Gear is doing or are interested you can find them on twitter and instagram @gamenightgear , facebook at game night gear, and of course gamenightgear.com

Did you realize what was going on in this episode?
The actor who played the Trickster is none other then Mark Hamill this is the actor who played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode 4,5 and 6 He is also going to be in the new Star Wars movie. He also played the first Trickster in 1990 CBS series The Flash. The current Flash series has been produced so well that they knew this and got Mark Hamill to play the role once again. He did a great job.
One other awesome thing they did in the episode is that the trickers trains a young boy to help free him from prison. Once he is free from prison the Trickster talks to the young man and asks him if he knows why he chose him. The young man doesn't know so the Trickster looks at him and says "I AM YOUR FATHER!" are you freaking kidding me I almost lost it when they let him say that exact line! A few years prior to this Mark Hamill had this said to him by the sith lord Darth Vader!
The Flash keeps getting better and better I am very happy with this series so far. If your not watching it deffinately start!

What if there was an Empire-focussed short Star Wars animation, drawn with the crazy detail and shading of classic 80s anime that's all but vanished from Japan nowadays? Well, I tried my best. Apologies in advance for not living up to Venus Wars standards.
