I've been cosplaying for 3 years for fun and passion and because it's one of the best way to express creativity.

I've started my first convention with Emma Frost and Neliel. I then decided to cosplay both of them again later on, improving them.

One of my favorite cosplays is female Vegeta, because it was the first armor I made all by myself!

I love both manga and comics, so I cosplayed some characters like Nami from OP, Juvia from Fairy Tail, Catwoman and Starfire from DC.

Another cosplay I was really happy with, is Stella from Winx Club.

I'm also a Star Wars fan, in fact my next project will be Female Boba Fett based on a fanart.

St. Louis Wizard World Comic Con Kickoff Party!

Last night Ryan and I (Joe) had the opportunity to attend the Wizard World St. Louis kickoff party at the Hard Rock Cafe. The kickoff party included a red carpet where we could get pictures of some of the Celebrities and Artists that will be at this weekends Comic Con as well as get a chance to ask them a few questions. Celebrities on hand were Christian Kane ("Leverage & The Librarians") and Chris51 ("Epic Ink"). Artists in attendance were Victor Dandridge, Rob Schamberger, and Clinton Hobart.

The festivities began with a brief Q&A with both Christian Kane as well as Chris51. Most of the questions came from the numerous ladies there in attendance known as the #Kaniacs. Check back for video of that panel!

However, during the red carpet entrance we got to chat with Chris51 and ask him a few quick questions:

NerdLife: How bad did that Simpsons Donut tattoo hurt when they "set it in?"

Chris51: Hurt like hell! It was literally 20 minutes after the tattoo and I told the production crew that you only have 1 take at this and that's it!

NerdLife: Is the entire weekend booked with scheduled tattoos?

Chris51: Pretty much but I still have some time to go around and look for some action figures! Which is crazy, I never make any money from these because I always spend it all on awesome stuff!

The Last person we got to meet with is Victor Dandridge from Vantage:Inhouse Productions (V:IP)!! Here is a brief bio about Victor.

Victor Dandridge is a rising star in the small-press market, rapidly gaining notoriety and acclaim through his creator-owned publishing imprint, Vantage:Inhouse Productions. Through V:IP, Dandridge has produced award-nominated/winning titles (The Samaritan, Origins Unknown, The Trouble w/ Love, and Wonder Care), the workbook-based educational brand, U Cre-8 Comics, as well as the multi-media comic book tutorial show, UnConventional.

The night was capped off with a brief acoustic set by Christian Kane which was the icing on the cake, if you will, for the evening. Check back in for the video of Christian Kane's live set!

Misty Everywhere! Cosplayers Pull The Ultimate April Fools Joke

If you are a fan of Misty then today was probable the best day of your life! Over 100 different cosplayers came together to break the internet and make you see Misty on your facebook feed. Everyone posted that they were very excited to debut there new Misty cosplays they have been working on at Cerulean City Comic Con. I sure hope Cerulean City Comic Con becomes a real thing because it would be amazing to see all these cosplays in one area!
